I recently did my Pass Plus course with Jon. Having been off the road for a good 5 months after passing my driving test be imbued me with confidence from our very first lesson. He was patient and extremely supportive through the course and made me feel so relaxed! He was very easy to get on with and really knows his stuff. Having had a difficult string of instructors I can vouch that Jon is an extremely good one - I would certainly recommend him to anyone..beginners and licence holders alike!

Jon is an absolutely incredible instructor! Made lessons to suit how your picking the criteria up! Such a top guy! He makes driving lessons a relaxed and enjoyable experience! Very Highly recommended!

Jon is an awesome instructor, he had so much patience with me, very clear on his instructions and has a big range of knowledge to help you understand the situations on the road. Even though I failed my first test due to me being a nervous wreck, he reassured me and did not pressure me to get back driving instantly. I had a cool down period, then when ready we went through my issues, perfected them and got through my test the second time. Jon focuses all of his attention to you when driving, I had an old instructor who looked at his phone. It was nice to have an instructor who you could talk to, have a good rapport and feel comfortable with when you mess up! Seriously recommend Jon to anyone. Massive thank you Jon, could not ask for a better instructor :)

" If I had to sum Jon up in two words it would be bloody brilliant!

From the first lesson Jon was friendly, very clear and a joy to spend time with. Spending so many hours with an instructor it was important for me to find someone I could get along with and have similar interests. This greatly increased both my enjoyment and learning capacity while I was driving.

As I’m at work five days a week it was hard to find an instructor that was willing to work around my schedule. Jon being busy as he was still managed to see me in the evenings and fit me in over the weekends, if it wasn't for his willingness there's not a chance I would have passed as quick as I did.

Before I met Jon I had completed some lessons with other instructors and found that they push you into driving on busy roads to quickly which made me hesitant and anxious. I spent a good few hours just driving up and down a quite road in Carterton getting used to the car and mastering the clutch and as boring as it was for Jon he still gave me 100% of his time and patience.

If you are looking for someone who is professional, kind, clear and all around a great person I would recommend Jon Melvin.
